The current Breww app is well-suited for deliveries and logistics, but not for field sales or customer management. As a result, it is not effectively usable for sales teams in their day-to-day work.
From a commercial perspective, the app lacks the core functionality needed to manage accounts, plan visits, and capture information in real time. This leads to workarounds, lost information, reduced productivity, and ultimately prevents teams from using Breww as their primary CRM tool.
Feature request: Improve app usability for field sales
The app should be optimised to support sales teams in managing their accounts and activities on the go.
Key requirements:
Client visit planning
Built-in visit agenda linked to accounts
Ability to plan, track, and log visits
GPS-based account centralisation
Map view showing nearby customers and prospects
Easy navigation and route planning
Fast and simple input
Quick logging of visit notes, deals, and follow-ups
Minimal clicks, mobile-first design
Sales workflow integration
Clear visibility of account status (incl. credit status, open orders, opportunities)
Ability to create and update deals directly in the app
Task and follow-up management
Assign and track tasks per account
Clear reminders and prioritisation
Why this matters:
Field sales happens in real time, not behind a desk. If the app does not support that reality, it won’t be used effectively, and Breww risks losing its position as the central CRM system within the organisation.
Hi Raymond,
I understand your feature request. The full use of BREWW is fantastic, of course. However, I do have something for consideration.
When you are sitting at the table with a client, it is not very practical for maintaining the relationship to constantly be tapping on your smartphone, or even working on a tablet during a conversation; it is not very engaging for the client.
I prefer to use a very basic notepad and pen during the conversation with the client to take notes, and only process these in BREWW later.
Afterwards or at the conclusion, you can of course incorporate your notes into BREWW, so that the requested feature is still realized.
Regards,
Christiaan
Thanks for your reply, I completely understand your point. During a good conversation, there shouldn’t be a screen between you and your customer. We don’t do that either. The relationship always comes first.
Where my point sits is mainly before and after the visit, and in the flow of the day itself.
Our account managers handle 8 to 12 visits a day. That’s where the difference is made in preparation, routing, and immediate capture. Not to be typing during the meeting, but to:
– be well prepared beforehand with clear visibility on the account (open orders, credit status, ongoing deals)
– capture key notes right after the meeting (in the car or walking to the next one)
– avoid losing follow-ups and orders by delaying everything until the end of the day
The reality is: if you only input everything at the end of the day, you lose both time and information. That ultimately costs money, through missed opportunities and weaker follow-up.
For me, a strong sales app is not a replacement for the conversation, but an enabler around it. Less admin at the end of the day, more focus on the customer.
So I agree with your point on client interaction. But if the system is designed properly for the moments outside the conversation, it actually supports better relationships instead of distracting from them.
Curious how you currently manage this with multiple visits per day.
Good preparation for visits, and secure registration of hard- and soft-information of the client/prospect.
I must admit I’m not working in sales, but only brewing. But I now how some sellers of ingrediënts/materials approuch us. And there is a great difference. That’s why I response on your great feature-request.
Thanks, everyone, for your ideas and comments. We’re working on Breww every day to make it better and better.
Unfortunately, this thread doesn’t fit into our feature requests requirements, as it isn’t for one specific request; it’s a collection of sales-related ideas. Please see I’ve got lots of ideas. Shall I post one big request?
I’m really sorry to have to do this, but I have to close this as it does not fit into our required structure for actionable feature requests. Please post each individual idea as its own thread (make sure to first search for and vote on existing feature requests if they already exist).
We’ll split the ideas up and post them as separate feature requests so they fit your structure.
What I do want to flag is that the mix of ideas in this thread isn’t random. It shows a bigger underlying gap around CRM and field sales. That’s where we feel Breww is still missing a layer to really work for commercial teams day to day.
If possible, it would be great if this could at least be mentioned in internal or international discussions. Not as one feature, but as an area that needs more attention. For us this is one of the key things holding Breww back from being the main commercial tool instead of something we have to work around.
We’ll start breaking things down and posting them properly, and happy to help prioritise if useful.
Thanks Raymond. We really appreciate the feedback.
Don’t worry, every single feature request is read and considered. Feature requests, like yours, trigger the vast majority of development projects that we work on.
