I received advice from Breww that for RTM supplied customers they advise setting up sites within the wholesalers customer account. For us, that doesn’t help as we’d like to keep a record of sales to these exact customers. Can someone from Breww advise on whether you can account for this?
Thanks for the question, Matthew.
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you. You post was in the feature requests area, which is managed differently from Help & advice. I’ve moved it to the help section now, so that we can help you better.
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand the question. Could you please explain further?
Hey Luke,
I’ll summarise the stock flow and maybe that will help:
- We sell to a customer account on our Breww platform. Lets call them Wholesaler A
- They resell to a customer and provide us the details. Let’s call them customer A
- We would like to have customer A on Breww, load their sales as per Wholesaler A’s update, so that they show up in any reporting we run via Breww.
Can this be done without effectively double counting the sale?
Hi Matthew, thanks for your reply. It sounds like the Customers who purchase via local wholesalers feature request may be what you are looking for here? If you could add your vote to this, that would be great.
The only other way that this could be handled would be via the method you previously mentioned, by creating a stock transfer order to transfer stock to a site that represents the wholesaler (please see: How do I move/transfer product stock and stock items to a different site/location? ). This means you could reflect the purchase of your stock from the wholesaler with an invoice, and have the stock held in Breww at a site representing the wholesaler. You could then fulfil orders using stock from this site to the individual customer entities who have purchased from the wholesaler; as you would have already tracked the revenue from selling the stock to the wholesaler, these can be raised as zero-value orders. Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!
Was a feature request raised for this topic?
Hi Raymod, thanks for your comment. There is the following feature request which has been raised: Customers who purchase via local wholesalers . Cheers!
I’ve voted for this, but I think there’s a structural imbalance in the Breww community worth calling out.
Right now, most active voices seem to come from brewers and operations. Totally logical given the roots of the platform — but it does mean that sales-driven features are underrepresented in prioritisation.
At the same time, the commercial side is exactly where additional value (and willingness to invest in tooling) is created.
If Breww wants to grow beyond being a strong ops tool into a true end-to-end platform, sales enablement needs to play a bigger role in the roadmap.
Features like GPS-based map centering aren’t “nice to have” — they directly impact route efficiency, visit frequency, and ultimately revenue.
Would be good to hear how others on the commercial side see this, and how we can get more sales input into product decisions.
