I am looking to run year on year comparison sales reports for customers to easily identify where we are downtrading. Had a good look and can’t find anything that matches what I need in the community, and the reporting system frankly is making my head hurt. Anyone managed this yet?

At the moment, year-on-year reporting isn’t possible, but we are planning some big improvements to our reporting suite soon.
Can you let us know which reports, specifically, you’d like to see year-on-year reporting on? At the moment, this request is too broad.
Like for like sales by customer or group would be really useful. It would be good to have an option to show two graphs overlayed to demonstrate growth or decline from two different years. For groups: the ability to differentiate between LFL growth and total growth inc. new site revenue for the period being analysed.

Hi. Is there any progress on year on year reporting? Particularly looking to run a report with all our customers with total invoiced ytd, compared to the same period last year.
I’m sorry, but there’s no update to report on this yet. We’ve been busy working on other requests, but we do hope to get to this in the future. Please make sure you have voted for it (if you haven’t already).

Apologies Luke, I never replied to your question. In terms of what I would want to see, as a Brewery Sales Manager it is customer sales related on the whole, although I know production teams would find year on year comparisons for volume produced / packaged and format breakdowns useful.
For me though Year on Year sales and volumes per customer is crucial, certainly per month but it would also be useful to see weekly breakdowns, and be able to also compare SKU’s / packaging formats etc YOY per customer.

This would be a really valuable to be able to see this data easily, especially by customer too. So when you go into the customer page you can see by week/month/year if they’re tracking similarly, up, or down on previous week/month/year.

Thanks, Will. Make sure you vote on this request too - that’s the most important thing that you can do to ensure this moves up the list in our reports. Comments can be helpful, but they don’t help the vote count, and the vote count is a big factor in our prioritisation.
