However, I want to be able to split what my customers can see based on Postcodes serviced in my Porterage network.
Outside of network - non-trackable Kegstar or KeyKeg only.
Inside of network - Own keg fleet and KeyKeg. However, if a product doesn’t have own fleet available but does have Kegstar, I want this to show to not lose the sale.
Can I please confirm that I’ve understood your request correctly. I believe you’re asking for a way to hide some products from some customers on the trade store?
I am going to use Customer Lists to be able to hide certain products however, what I am trying to achieve is the following based on our direct delivery service network.
Customers outside of network - Can see non-returnable KEGSTAR kegs ONLY
Customers inside of network - Can see our returnable products ONLY unless stock is zero. At which point, if the beer is available in a non-returnable KEGSTAR keg they will be able to see it.
Both groups will be able to see KeyKeg.
If there is a better way to do this other than what I have done, which is set them all up as separate container types, please let me know.
Ah yes, that makes sense. We’ve already got the “Out-of-stock automatic substitution” feature but it’s not really usable on the trade store. We might be able to leverage this here to help with this request.
It’s up to you really. I think you fully understand how it works currently, so you’ll have to choose if you’d like your within-network-customers to see both returnable and non-returnable, or just returnable.
If it was up to me, I’d show both products to ensure sales were not missed due to something being out of stock. You can always look over the orders that are placed and switch them from a non-returnable to retrunable manually if you’d like to.
Cheers mate - can I ask if you can loop in with @connor-fry regarding the support ticket I have with queries then?
As the delivery network is small (compared to the rest of the UK) it is easy to exclude products from a smaller number of postal districts.
I’m just looking for a neat solution to the problem so we can resolve before the weekend and can open the store up Monday morning.
Cheers
