Be able to exclude certain products from certain customers outside of the Trade Store. For example, to stop wholesalers being sold beer that should only be distributed via our own bars.
It would be helpful to have the ability to restrict sales of a given SKU to only allow certain customers to buy it. An example of where this could be useful is for private label beers, which are aliases of another major SKU. Or proprietary beers that are just made for a certain customer.
Possibly you could add an additional option in the “Packaged/Sold” dropdown, like “Sold only to Linked Customers” or “Restricted Sales”. Upon selection of this option, specific customers could be chosen to receive this product.
This function would really help reduce confusion for our sales reps, when they are making invoices.

Really like the Trade store so far!
I’ve been playing around with it and testing it with the bar team, a feature to exclude certain product type would be quite handy. This has my vote!
Maybe we could make the rules a little more robust? They could be based on product tags or product types.
Basically, what I’d like to do is exclude our bar from ordering cases of cans.

This feature request is not really trade store specific as it’s intended to add the ability to restrict sales of products not via the trade store (which already has rules for this purpose). Your suggestion for trade store rules improvements sounds great - please can you open a request specifically for this (it’s not something that will be rolled-up into this request)? Thank you.
