Customer ordering new beer - suggest complementary items to add, e.g. pump clips/keg badges

Hi
It would be great if Breww could flag up if a customer has ordered a new (to them) product, so POS (pump clips, keg badges etc.) could be added to their order, possibly automatically?

Unless I am missing an easy way to see this info when creating an order?

Thanks
Tim

Thanks for the great suggestion, Tim.

You’re right that this isn’t possible yet, and posting this here is the right place to get this feature added. If anyone else would like to see this, please give it a vote with the button in the top-left :+1:

Yes, please - that would be a very helpful feature

This would be very helpful. Or similar to the existing feature of adding a private alert to a customer, a feature to be able to add private alerts to particular products, such as kegs woudl be useful. I.e. prompts such as - does this order need pump badges?

Hello,

We’ve recently decided to hold tap badges as stock in Breww.
We need these depleted at point of dispatch and preferably have it as a line item on the order alongside it’s Keg/Cask counterpart.

There is currently no functionality that I know of that can do both at the same time other than manually adding it to an order, which isn’t practical.
Is there a solution available maybe allowing two SKUs paired to an single integrated external platform SKU? Or maybe pairing two SKUs together so when one it added to an order, the other is automatically added as well?

If we have a rule to orders, it would be nice to have Breww help us with a systematic approach, at the moment it’s additional admin.
This could help beyond Tap badges, mixed pack orders currently have no indication within the Deliveries system that illustrates what those mixed packs are, it’s just a name. Sales bundles, POS packs or events set ups could also be encompassed by a system like this.

Thanks
Tom

Thanks for the suggestion, Tom.

I expect the extra items (keg badges) would be optional (when orders are created directly in Breww, rather than via an integration)?

And you might want to remove them manually from an integrated order?

I’ve also merged your request with another request that aims to solve the same issue, in order to consolidate all the votes in one place.

Hey Luke,

In a sense they are optional but mandatory.
Local delivery customers likely have a badge or two on hand, our drey can always give a spare from stock carried around. But anything couriered or palletised, will be needing individual badges. This will be the same for other breweries.

Rather than being a component like: cask, shive, keystone. Tap badges should be a separate line item on an order. I’d like an automatic process to do this.
I think a localised solution like allowing two SKUs to be paired so when one is ordered the other is added to the order would sort the issue but add some flexibility and transparency to the orders.
As an example:
Add 2x “Keg A” + 2x “Keg B” to order
auto + 2x “Keg A badge” + 2x “Keg B badge”
Add “events kit A”
auto + 2x “Keg dispenser” + 4x “coupler” + 1x “standing Bar A”

Hopefully that would be possible? If it worked with an integrated platform SKU as well, that’s ideal.
The exception to the rule would require the admin of removing the added line from the order, a lot less cumbersome than adding to an order. And requires an individual’s judgement.

Hello again,

Has there been any thoughts/development at Breww on this?
Keeping accurate stock levels is difficult without some help from a system.

Thanks!

I’m sorry, but there’s no update to report on this yet. We’ve been busy working on other requests, but do hope to get to this in the future. Please make sure you have voted for it (if you haven’t already).

Please see How do I know if there’s been an update on a feature request?

Thank you
