Hi there!
We’re going through a total stock reconciliation in January and we have some stock positions which have been managed in a slightly less than favourable way. Is there any way to manually override stock amounts and stock batches to correct for errors? We have multiple warehouses and it’s generated a few errors along the way. Thanks in advance.
Hi Jonny, thanks for your comment. It sounds like you could perform a stock take in Breww for this; our Stock takes in Breww guide should cover this, but let me know if you need any more help. Cheers!
Thanks Ben! If I were to add a certain number of mixed case products, would Breww need me to justify the batches that go into these cases? One issue that I am facing is the discrepancy between mixed cases and available stock in batches. We’re dealing with millions of cans sold per year now so the discrepancies could have begun a couple of months ago and there’s no way for me to back-track to batches that will show as sold out out in Breww.
Hi Jonny, Thanks for your reply. Components within a mixed pack will need to be adjusted into Breww against a specific batch; however, if you add mixed packs through a stock take, Breww will automatically adjust in the individual component stock against the most recent batch of each component. If you need to adjust in stock and specify the batch of the individuals, the individuals would need to be added via the stock take, and the mixed packs would then need to be manually assembled in Breww. Let me know if you need anything else. Cheers!
OK, If I have a pallet of returns that come in - say 50 boxes of 24 cans - I have to batch track each can back into stock across hundreds of batches and months of production to ensure the stock is correctly returned? There is no way to streamline this process?
Hi Jonny, Thanks for your reply. If you have returns that come back from a customer, then you can select the Return items button on the delivery page of the order in which the stock was originally sent, which will bring the specific batches that were delivered back into stock (please see: How to return delivered items back to stock). To maintain traceability, every component packaged beer is batch-tracked, therefore, adjustments need to be entered against a specific batch. Cheers!
Hi Ben, return items only seems to work if everything from that group of orders is being returned. What do I do if I have to return one Shopify order from a day where we have shipped 300+ orders? Is there any way to return the stock from the individual order in Sales, rather than search through the dispatched orders for individual orders (there is no search function in deliveries that seems to return individual orders).
Hi Jonny, Thanks for your reply. You can return items from a specific order by either searching the order number on the ‘Sales’ page or in the ‘Search for anything in Breww’ box (at the top of all Breww pages). Once you have done this, you can select to view the order and then the specific delivery; there is a button for this on the ‘Delivery’ section of the order. You can then return the items for that order. Let me know if you need anything else. Cheers!
Ahaaa! Thanks! That’s a hidden feature I wish I knew about earlier!
