We have recently had an issue where our packaging costs jumped. We managed to track it down to a stock adjustment of kegs that we cleaned and added into stock, but they went in at £99 instead of £0.99. This was quite a simple error but difficult to diagnose as, although we could see the log of stock adjustments, there is no viewable record of what cost was entered on the adjustment.
So, can this be changed so that Stock Adjustments show the cost of the item added to stock?
The suggested resolution to this, was to find the beer batches that had these mis-priced kegs allocated to them, remove the kegs from the packaging to put them back into stock, then change the value of the entire keg stock to the correct value, then go back into each batch and add the kegs to the packaging run again. Quite a long winded and time consuming process when 9 different packagings are affected! Thankfully the devs were able to amend the cost in the backoffice.
Can I therefore make the request that a Stock Adjustment record can be edited, in case an incorrect price or quantity is added?
