Deleting Alias Beers

Hi all.

Is there a way to be able to delete an alias beer? I’ve looked everywhere but it’s probable I’ve missed something.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for getting in touch. You’re right, this button wasn’t available on alias beers :man_facepalming: We’ve added it quickly for you now, it should show in the top-right of when viewing the alias beer.

Is there a way to be able to have this on alias products as well? I’m trying to delete a keg.

Hi Ben,

Ah, it was the same deal with the button for alias products. We’ve changed this for you and you should now be able to click the pencil icon on on the alias product, then click ‘obsolete’.

Old thread but is there a way to delete an obsolete beer? I’ve mistakenly made an alias beer (now marked as obsolete) but now system says beer exists when I attempt to make the beer as derived at packaging i.e. even though obsolete, beer name is still held is system and not usable elsewhere

Rename the obsolete beer.

Yup that works, if only I hadn’t been so quick to accept creating the derived beer with small variation of name!
