The current contact types for emails and phones make very little sense to me, as they are other home, or work, and I think over 95% of everyone phones and emails in our customers lists are going to be work numbers and emails.
I think it would be much more helpful if we could set a custom contact types like:
-GM
-Operations
-Accounts
-Warehouse
etc.

Also I forgot it in the original post, but it would be nice to be able to connect names to numbers and emails where applicable.

This should already be possible when adding a contact via this form:
You can enter the name of the person, as well as a job title (which would work well for your contact type), and this will be associated with the email/phone numbers entered. This form is opened by using the “Add contact” button when viewing a customer.
Can you let me know if you still think something new is needed, or if this covers what you’re looking for?
