Connor suggest I post this feature request after I raised a support ticket. Much of the below, is lifted from Connor’s suggestion:
- Problem: An issue with the Sellar integration where orders that are dispatched via courier through Sellar Shipping (e.g. APC, UPS) are being marked as both “Dispatched” and “Delivered” in Breww simultaneously. This in turn causes the order to be marked as delivered in Sellar as well, even though the courier has not yet actually delivered the order to the customer. This leads to disappointed customers as undelivered orders are missed.
- Why is this a problem with Breww? Breww’s current integration engine is only built to handle “shipped,” “fulfilled,” and “delivered” as a single combined trigger. Because of this, there isn’t currently a way in Breww’s system to split the automation into a two-step “dispatched” and then “delivered” process.
- Fix: Sellar tracks the dispatch and delivery as two separate events (we can see the distinct
dispatchedAtanddeliveredAtFields in their data, and it looks like they do send separate webhooks for both. Connor assure me that “it is technically possible for us (Breww) to build this out in the future.”
