Tasks becoming push notifications on your mobile device / web browser / Slack integration / email reminders

Hello,
A few of our production team are missing important tasks due to not seeing them at appropriate times. Is there any way you can set these up to become push notifications to your mobile similar to a social media notification?

Hi Kieran,

Thanks for your message and your suggestion! We are always looking for ways to improve Breww so it’s appreciated. If anyone else thinks this feature would be useful, please vote for the feature using the button above.

I’ll be sure to update you if there is any progress on this.

Cheers,

Joe

Would be good to have email notifications too, not our whole team has breww on their phone.

Yes to push notifications but only for the appropriate users, don’t want brewers or delivery drivers getting push notifications for sales calls etc. Or a pop-up on screen that you can click through to the task from.

We use Slack within our team and a push notification onto something like this would be great!

Does anyone else use Slack? We use it internally at Breww too and it’s great for stuff like this.

Over at FP we do, Slack integration would be very handy

This would be really useful across Breww (productino, sales, deliveries etc), but yeah ideally as an email or pop-up on computers rather than mobile phones. Or at least the option to turn them off on mobiles as well as the ability to assign to specific users only as with current task settings.

Slack integration would help to alert the necessary team and ensure nothing is missed/delayed. A massive game changer to our operation.

I would also be very keen for a slack integration!

Voted for this, but for email notifications!

We’ve had a few team members ask about this as they’ve missed tasks, even when they’ve been wokring within Breww all day. Notifications would be great, even if it was just in browser while using Breww. Something similar to the ‘what’s new’ pop-up/side bar, giving you the option to jump into the task or dismiss for later.

Voted: Email notifications would be great

This sounds like a good plan. I’d personally avoid push notifications to phones as a lot of our staff use their personal phones and I wouldn’t want them getting notifications when they’re not at work etc.

Otherwise reminders via email would be good.

A small pop up notification for tasks would be fantastic, New to Breww and it is great, however, when you have 20 things to do, tasks often go overlooked, a notification on laptop and phone would be huge.

Slack notifications would be great, then it’s easy for staff to turn them off when they’re not working.

I think others would appreciate push notifications during their working day. You’d be able to toggle your notifications on and off. I’d love a notification (email, Slack, G-Suite, app) integration

I think email would be the way to go - similar to how we can send email to accounting or invoice a client so that minimal coding would be necessary at the Breww end to get something up and running.

Essentially the functionality would work that when a task is assigned to a Breww user, the person setting up the task has the option to send them the task notification to their email. The administrator of the task could choose to send the task as email, or not. The end user can choose to have rules for a folder of tasks, or not.

A step up in functionality would be to have a scheduled task send out an email automatically when the task is due, ‘x’ time before the task is due and/or ‘y’ time after the task was due if it was not cleared as done. If a user cleared the task in Breww, no email is sent.

Creating a task and sending push notifications to certain accounts would be extremely helpful. Also an internal chat on Breww woud be great. This would need to be logged so content does not get lost
