This is a bit of a niche feature but good for karma points.
We frequently get requests by friendly breweries for inventory as they run out. A bag of malt or yeast - sometimes even a pallet of bottles. It is great to help another brewer out, but we’ve noticed borrowing is too prone to forgetfullness so we started to invoice these for clarity.
Have you ever considered a way in which we can invoice them directly out of the breww stock? So that the stocklevels are adjusted, batchnumbers are mentioned and the invoice is sent automatically?
This can be done by adding a stock item product for the malt or yeast. It can then be marked as obsolete after use and un-obsoleted to sell it again if you want to keep the product list clean most of the time. I’ve included a link below that gives a bit more detail on selling a stock item in Breww.
