Option to pick stock via locations rather than product type

Hi Breww Team,

We would greatly appreciate the ability to select stock for distribution based on location rather than by product type.

Currently, we print the delivery manifest and manually go through the list to pick all the products needed for that day’s deliveries. This process often requires us to move back and forth across the warehouse to locate the right items, which can be quite time-consuming. While we’ve streamlined this somewhat by rearranging the warehouse alphabetically, the system still isn’t ideal for our needs.

What we’re requesting is a feature that allows us to print the driver manifest with the locations of the products listed in sequence—e.g., Bay 1, Bay 2, Bay 3, etc. This would be especially helpful as we continue to expand and the warehouse fills with additional products.

We understand the mobile app’s picking system is an option, but it selects products by customer rather than listing all the items needed for that day’s deliveries.

I hope this request is clear and that it’s something that can be implemented.

Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion, Dean. From reading your message, I was going to suggest using the mobile app picking system, but then you said:

I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean here. Could you please explain further so we can ensure we come up with the best solution for you? Thank you.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that it currently selects products by invoice. This means we could end up going back and forth a lot if several invoices include the same product.

I like how the app prompts you to go to a location and then shows the items to pick from that location. If there were an option to select “pick items required for the whole run” as well as “pick per invoice,” that would work really well for us.

I hope that makes sense.
Thanks!

Thanks, Dean.

The mobile app pick process doesn’t currently pick by invoice; it already works exactly as you’re asking for (picking by location, such as everything from Bay 1 first, then everything from Bay 2, then everything from Bay 3, etc).

If I’ve misunderstood anything, please let me know, but otherwise, I think this can be closed, as we already do what you’re looking for.

I’ve set this to auto close in two weeks from now if I don’t hear back from you. Breww should already be doing what you’ve asked for. If you still have questions around this, please reply before this thread closes. Thanks.
