When using the scanner on the iphone app to scan containers during racking can we please have a message/pop up that prevents you from leaving the “Racking Details Screen” without pressing a “Confirm” button?
You can exit this screen by pressing or swiping which cancels the entire racking process. This has happened several times by accident. We have also realised you can do this by accident by swiping whilst the camera is open. It then jumps past the “Racking Details Screen” and deletes all the scanning data.
Coincidentally, yesterday, we released an app update encouraging the use of a completely rebuilt mobile app racking tool. The new tool is much more closely linked with the website version, should be easier for you to use, for us to maintain and has extra features that were missing from the mobile app tool.
For a short while, you’ll be able to use either the old tool or the new one on the mobile app. We’re looking to gain feedback on any issues with the new tool and then assuming it’s working well, we’ll be removing the old one completely.
The issue you’re describing looks to only be causing problems with the old tool, so I think we’re ok to mark this as “done”, but can you please try the new racking tool on the mobile app and let me know if you have the same issue with it (or if you have any feedback on it)? Cheers!
