Empty kegs into a vessel

I’m looking for a way to empty our kegs (finished goods) into a vessel? Is there already a functionality to do this?

Hi Remi, Thanks for your comment. Currently, it isn’t possible to empty kegs back into a vessel; however, the following feature request has been raised which sounds like it should cover what you would need here: Empty containers back into a vessel/tank (e.g. to allow blending two different packaged products to make a new beer). It would be great if you could add you vote to this! Cheers.

Hey Ben,
Thanks. I upvoted. Any timeline on when this will be completed or how many more votes it needs to become an actionalbe item? I have to rack this product soon, so a solution to this issue would be greatly appreciated  :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Hi Remi, Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a timeline on when this will be completed; however, the priority of feature request implementation and handling of votes is discussed here. Let me know if I can help with anything else. Cheers!

We are planning to have a blend ready for racking in 2 weeks. If there isn’t a keg to tank possibility, is these another way to get these products in a “sellable form” in breww. I could Delay release of the kegs that I’ve used to make the blend, and create a “fake beer”, create the blend mixpack, with no costs, of which i can increase the stock and then later destroy the kegs that were used in the making?

Hi Remi, Thanks for your reply. It would be good to take a closer look at this for you and the specific example in this scenario. Would it be okay if you raised a support ticket, please, as well as granted us access to your account? If you could provide the actual batch numbers involved, as well as any other details surrounding this, such as the containers that have already been racked, that would be great, and we will be able to have a closer look at the options here. You will be able to raise a ticket by selecting Need help, followed by Ask a question in Breww. Cheers, Ben.

I would luv to know how this is resolved. I have similar situations and problems accurately recording blended products.

Hi Katherine, Thanks for your comment. We wanted to check whether any of the batch racking actions could be reversed in this scenario; in some cases, it is possible to reverse a racking action so the volume returns to the vessel (please see: Undo/correct batch errors). If they could be reversed, then this would allow the volumes to return to the vessel where they could be blended and then packaged. However, unfortunately, in this case, this wasn’t possible; to manage this, stock imports against new products were performed, and the stock of the original products was stock-adjusted out of Breww. Cheers!
