Can we get an option to add custom fields to Products like we can with Customers?
I need to store additional SKU codes for our online shop (who generate their own) and it would be good to link them back to our products in Breww.
If it was me, I’d use the barcode (GTIN) to make this link.

Sure, but doesn’t the shop use the GTIN as well, somewhere in its innards? So you’d have some report from the shop with (SKU / stock counts / GTIN /whatever else you need) thus, no need to store shop-SKU in BREWW (where you already have GTIN / product code / counts). i.e. GTIN ties them together. Or am I missing the point? I suppose it depends what you’re trying to do.
I can see how storing arbitrary stuff in Breww against the product might seem attractive, tho’
Yeah potentially there are other ways to recognise which online SKU relates to which Breww SKU, but I thought it would be useful to do it the other way round. And for me this would definitely be the easiest. You could also potentially store other bits of information not covered by the existing fields on the product as well.

Looks like a maintenance nightmare to me. I bet you’d get more response from the devs (and other customers - think: votes) if you gave a use case, i.e. something you need to do, that can’t be done (easily), without this.

I can certainly see how this would be useful. We had a request for something similar recently from a potential new customer (so was never posted by them on the community) that would be solved this if we then exposed these custom fields to the invoice PDF template too

Start taking advantage today by going to Settings → Product settings → Product custom fields.
