We are aware of an ongoing issue that is affecting users’ ability to connect to Breww and we are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Apologies again for the continued issue with Breww. We have identified that the issue lies with our service provider (DigitalOcean), who are experiencing network issues affecting their services.

We are currently working on getting around these ourselves rather than waiting for them to resolve them on their side. We’ve identified a few potential solutions and are implementing them now.

We can confirm the problem was an issue with our service provider, and we’ll be conducting a full review and investigating how we can prevent this from happening again in the future.

We’d like to apologise again for the inconvenience this outage caused you. This issue was completely caused by an issue with DigitalOcean that was entirely out of our control. To mitigate the problem, we moved the problematic services away from DigitalOcean. We will be further investigating and will ensure that in future, we do all we can to not be affected by third-party issues like this, but ultimately, as with almost all software providers, we are reliant on other services to run our platform.

DigitalOcean were disappointingly slow off the mark with creating a publically-viewable service incident for this, but it is now shown on their status page.
