Assigning future batches(Planned Packaging/Delayed racking releases) to orders without effecting current available stock

Hi,

A great new feature could be to prevent the available stock figure from decreasing when an order is assigned to a batch with planned packaging or delayed releases unless the ordered stock quantity exceeds the planned packaging or delayed release stock quantity. Essentially allocating stock from a planned packaging directly to an order to prevent an impact on your current available stock figure.

I believe this will also help with users not being able to use the “delayed racking releases” and “prevent over-selling” features effectively. Ask quoted by @greg-pritchard.

Isn’t this sort of covered by Improvements to Planned packaging and delayed racking release stock control (allow overselling if stock will be available in time) - Ideas & feature requests - Breww Community

Yes, I agree this would be great and should be covered by that other feature request. I’ll close this thread now, so can everyone looking for this, please make sure you’ve voted for that other thread. This ensures all votes are in one place :+1: Cheers!
