Allow auto-assembly/auto-disassembly of mixed/multi-packs without the need for the 1 x bottle/can product

Hi guys
We currently sell smallpack in 12s and 24s with the auto-assemble function enabled. I recently discovered that this only works if you also create 1 x 440ml cans as well. In order to try and tidy up how many products we have, I stopped creating 1 x 440ml cans but discovered it messes up the way the auto assemble functions.

So if we create 12s and 24s and rack say 100 x 12s, the software is unable to auto-assemble 24s, even though it’s a multiple of the available 12s.

It’s not a big issue but with hundreds of different beers created every year, every little thing we can do to reduce clutter is appreciated!

Thanks for the great suggestion, Ben.

I’m sure this would be possible to implement. In the meantime, to reduce the clutter, you can mark these products as Packaged only which will ensure they don’t show in lists when adding items to orders, in price books, etc

Possibly, an option for Neither sold or packaged would be a fairly simple solution for this implementation, as the complex assembly logic wouldn’t need to change, but the product could be hidden from almost everywhere in Breww.
