The brewing team and Directors use the Production Overview and Batch Schedule all the time. It would be really helpful if a new button could be added next to New Batch called New Event. When clicked this could go to a page similar to the New Batch page what would allow you to select a customised Event that would appear in the Batch Schedule.
EG: The perfect example for us would be that over a given date or time range CIP is being undertaken. This would remove the blank space which currently exists that makes it look like nothing is happening when in fact there is almost always a processing going on. Clerly it could also be used for other applications to flag things that need to be visible during the batch schedule.
We recognise that the above could also be achieved by tweaking the name of the New Batch button and then adding additional headings to the “Brew Type” & “Beer” sections in the New Batch page but although easy this approach may also be confusing.
I have also asked Ash our head brewer to comment further on anything I have missed.
This FR - Adding simple “events” to the batch schedule with just a title, icon and colour choice. Not linked to anything else in Breww. These would not be linked to a cleaning & maintenance record (despite the suggested example of CIP). Think of this more like blocking a whole day out for a deep clean, repairs, events, etc.
The other FR - Recipe actions to be able to be shown in the batch schedule as part of the existing planned vessel usage for the related batch.
