Taproom/takeaway wastage recording

Hi. I’m sure many breweries have the same issue and it would be good to see it automated.

Would it be possible to account for all draught sales related wasted beer in the following way Instead of transferring keg to taproom and paying full duty on it right away and than claiming ullage which is unknown at the point when keg is already empty.

1.Transfer keg in duty suspense to taproom so it records available stock correctly

  1. Sell beer by container type like a crowler/beer bag/milk carton

  2. When keg is empty click a button and all waste would be calculated by subtracting small containers from keg

I guess it’s possible by creating new take away container types as duty payable but perhaps there is a better way? Thanks,
