I’m wondering if for the Products Available for Sale Report there could be a selected additional column/filter. If we could display negative quantity items as well as positive stock, this would give our Sales staff visibility in to outstanding requests that are yet to be fulfilled if the product is not made yet. This would also enable our production staff to see this readily and know what they need to make to fulfill these requests ahead of time.
Currently this report shows us items in stock and takes in to account requested items that match. However if we need to make requested sixtels from halves in stock for example, we do not see the negative quantity of sixtels required and it’s hard to know for our staff that the halves in stock may need to be reserved still to break down in to those sixtels.
Thanks for working on this. The report showing all out of stock items is not quite the function that will be helpful for us. We are looking to only show the out of stock items that have been requested on a sale.
As we do a lot of one-off and rotational brands, we have quite a few products out of stock at all times at a 0 value, so that’s a ton for our team to sift through. We really just need to display items currently in-stock, and the items not in stock but requested for a sale.
We see this functionality when we go navigate to the ‘Products’ page - there is a column that displays ‘Quantity Available’. When the quantity available is negative, we know there is a requested sale for an item we do not have in stock.
I’m hoping that the negative ‘quantity available’ value is what can be implemented in the Products Available for Sale report, that way our sales team can see what they need to subtract from the on-hand stock and not over-sell product.
