Packaging approvals applied per recipe, not per beer

We brew the same beer for cask and keg, the beer is the same, but the recipe and the target specs are different and the things we measure for cask vs. can and keg are also different (carbonation, DO, etc.) It would good to be able to have packaging approvals assigned to the individual recipes, rather than the batch or the beer.

Splitting the beers into separate “Beers” isn’t an option because it gets complicated when we have to split batches.

Planned packaging approvals might be your friend here? You can set (or “override”) these by container type I think?

That said, if they are truly different recipes, they’re not really the same beer, are they? Unless the difference is just post fermentation, in which case maybe “derived“ beers might work?

But I bet the first option would do you.
