Because the packaging approval set up is on the beer detail page and is optional we find that it is often missed at the set up stage. the beer is created, recipes done then once the batch is started it is realised that it hasn’t been toggled on and it can’t be changed. Could this be changed so that it could be switched on after a batch has been started?

Packaging approvals have recently had a significant update that impacts this idea somewhat.
As an alternative idea, would a production setting of “Prevent starting a batch if pre-packaging approvals have not been set up for the beer” be a workable solution for you here @hazel-meehan?

If I don’t hear back for another two weeks, I’ll assume that this feature request is no longer required (following the recent updates).
