Apologies if covered elsewhere but drawing a blank on searches.
We use Kegstar and have set up as brand of NR Container. However, when we receive pallets from Kegstar, how should I be showing them as being in stock / delivered? Should they be set up as a stock item which would therefore allow Purchase Orders etc?
I’ve been looking at Container section and doesn’t seem to make sense to add containers when it won’t allow me to specify brand at time of creation.
Hi Karl, Thanks for your comment! You’re right—you could create a stock item to represent the specific Kegstar keg size. This would allow you to raise POs and receipt stock for these into Breww. You can then “consume” this stock when racking your products, meaning the keg costs will also feed through and be accounted for.
How you consume the keg stock will depend on your product setup in Breww; this is dicussed further here: Managing container types - Breww docs . So, in short, you will just need to create a stock item for your ‘kegstar’ kegs; once you have stock, you can then use this stock when racking. I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers!
