Non Stock Costs

Is there anyway to add a non stock ingredient or cost to a batch? I’m thinking specifically about electricity and water charges? We’d like to include this in cost report for a batch.

Thanks for your suggestion. This is a feature that has been requested a few times and is currently on our feature development list - I have added an additional vote on your behalf and we’ll update you here once we have some progress to share.

In the meantime however, you can add a stock item of ‘miscellaneous cost’ and assign that to a batch to reflect anything you may spend on utilities etc.

I’m sorry, we forgot to contact you at the time, but this feature was recently launched!
When on a batch’s page, you’ll see a tab called ‘Utility/other costs’. I hope this is helpful! We’re also planning on the ability to automatically add certain costs to each batch, scaled to the size of the batch.
