New sale/order notification for trade store orders

Hi guys, I’ve noticed that when we are running low on a product or there is a task to do there is a little icon next to the relevant navigation link.
Is it possible to have this when someone orders off the trade store next to sales so its indicated that a new order has come in?

Thanks for the suggestion, Dan.

We could certainly create an alert (a “badge”) when an order comes in, but I’m not sure what the trigger would be to hide the alert, to be honest. Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you mate. I’m assuming the trade store works by creating a DRAFT order with Trade Store as the source. So something like:
IF a draft order exists with trade store as source THEN sum of draft orders with trade store status as label for the icon?

The icon would then either reduce or remove as orders are confirmed.

Would that work?

Ah yeah, that would work. That’s a good idea that I hadn’t thought of.

You can choose in settings if you’d like orders to come in as draft or confirmed, but this feature could simply only “work” if you have them configured to come in as draft initially.
