Knock-out Hot Wort Cubes

Hello,

Is there a way to knock out directly into a hot wort cube besides creating a “dummy” FV to KO into?

Hi Tony, Thanks for your comment! There are two ways you could handle this in Breww:

  1. Transfer to a vessel on your production dashboard
    If you want to move the volume from your brewing system to a vessel shown on your production dashboard, you can create a new vessel by going to View → Vessels → New vessel, as you suggested.

  2. Represent it as a vessel within your brewing system
    Alternatively, you can add the vessel directly to your brewing system by selecting the brewing system, then View/manage brewing system → Add new vessel.
    This way, instead of transferring to a primary vessel from your brewing system, you’d select Turn 1 actions → Add volume to brewing vessel on the brew sheet to move it to the next brewing vessel. When it’s time to transfer to a fermenter, you can then move it from the brewing system to the fermenter as usual.
