Converting to "Derived in vessel" beers without transfer

We produce a number of beers derived in vessel, most are brite-tank additions to a parent beer (e.g. flavours, hop extracts). Currently it seems the only way to convert to a “Derived in vessel” batch is by transferring and splitting a batch - typically we don’t do this, we transfer the entire batch to the brite tank, package half of it as the parent beer, then make additions to convert to the derived beer for the remainder.

Is there any way to convert to the derived beer without transferring? Currently it seems the only way is to tell breww we’re transferring back to a fermenter then back into the brite.

Hi Harry, Thanks for your comment! You will be able to convert the remaining volume in the vessel to the derived in vessel beer by heading to the planned derived in vessel batch and selecting Start batch. Here, there is a Vessel to switch to this batch option, where you will be able to select the remainder of your batch held in the vessel. Let me know if you need any more help. Cheers!

Brilliant, I must have missed that! Thanks Ben
