I have a few ideas on how to improve the Reorder Level feature in Breww.
- Show items below reorder level on the Pre-Brew Stock Check.
- We keep an amount of stock items on hand to be able to breww any core beer at any time while also purchasing as needed based on the Pre-Brew stock check. It would help if stock below the Reorder level appeared on the Pre-Brew Stock Check.
- Ideally this would be a on/off option similar to “Would you like to include stock that is due to be used by planned or in-progress batches?” - Don’t show reorder notification for items on order.
- More specifically the red number shown on the sidebar should not include items that have an open PO that would bring them above the reorder level. There is a possibility that someone else in the brewery see’s the items below reorder level and calls a supplier without checking PO’s. Could also have a red circle for “below reorder” and a yellow circle for “below reorder but on order”.
- Show the reorder quantity on the stock item main view.
- Currently to place a Malt order for the next 3 weeks of production i need to run a pre brew stock check for any planned batches we have, then go through the malt in my core beers, click into the stock item to verify the reorder level and then calculate the actual purchasing need. Ideally me and the brew team could see the current stock level and the appropriate par level at a glace and act based on that info.
