COGS of batch/beer including duty?

Hi,

Might be missing it, but looking for a total COGS report of a batch of beer/products that includes Duty (as some of it is exported and does not require duty to be paid).

You could use one of the margin reports in “Pre-built Sales reports”. These will include the exact amount of duty paid.

yeah those are not what I am looking for as it is not batch/beer specific - so I need to start exporting to get the info needed.

I would love to have a Margin by beer or batch or product (joining up all customers)

The only thing I could suggest for now is exporting “Margin by customer and product” and then, in Excel, grouping by product to give you an average for all the customers who’ve purchased (essentially removing the customers from the report).

I’m not an Excel wizz, and if you’re not either, Chat GPT is You can upload the exported file (keep it a small dataset to make it quicker) and ask it to convert the data for you. Or to provide the actual formula so you can create a template in Excel for regular use.

You can also of course post a feature request for a dedicated report.
