Batches to have a "Packaged" stage while fully packaged but not yet released. Become "Complete" once all stock released or rejected

The delayed release feature is really good, and as a brewery that produces a lot of cask conditioned beer, is certainly an improvement on our previous software. Allowing us to ‘hide’ the beer from those pesky sales people!

But BREWW labels batches ‘complete’ once they are packaged and the vessel has been emptied of all that particular beer. We cask condition for about a week, at which point we obviously test gravity/abv, but also colour, bitterness etc… To me, this is when a batch is complete (ie. Ready to sell), NOT simply once it is packaged

We have an Excel spread sheet at the moment, so we can keep track of what batches we ourselves consider ‘complete’, as scrolling through ‘All Batches’ on BREWW makes my eyes hurt.

Perhaps there could be an additional ‘status’ tag?:
*Planned
*In-Progress
*Packaged (New Tag)
*Complete - Of which this can be triggered by production perhaps?

Thoughts?

For this case, I think it would be nice if “All Batches” had a column for “has delayed releases” or something. The visibility of these delayed (or retracted) releases isn’t very good at the moment.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can see how this could work well.

It’s very similar in objective to Brewing stage remaining open after completion but there might still be the need for readings/etc to be taken after completion, so I don’t think they should be merged together at this time.

Please don’t forget to vote for your own suggestions too :+1:
