You can now manage your own custom sub-types for all types of stock items to make managing and organising your stock items easier. Manage your options at Stock items(previously Inventory)> Tools & options > Stock item sub-types.
To take advantage of Alpha Acid calculations (and more ingredient calculations that are coming soon), make sure to pick the type of ingredient that your sub-type refers to.
