As part of keeping Breww’s infrastructure reliable and performant, we will soon be making some significant changes to our underlying database platform.
To ensure this change occurs smoothly, we will be taking Breww offline briefly. This will mean that the platform is unavailable at this time, so we wanted to let everyone know in advance that this will be happening.
- The maintenance is scheduled to start at 2024-10-05T21:00:00Z.
- We anticipate Breww to be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes.
- If we can make this time shorter we will, but please also be aware that the downtime could be longer if we encounter anything unexpected.
The changes have been tested thoroughly and the benefits they will bring (both in the short term and long term) should be significant.
We apply updates to the Breww software/our server infrastructure almost every working day. These can usually be performed without any downtime, so we apologise for the need for downtime in this case.
During the maintenance period, support tickets will be unavailable. However, the Breww Community should not be impacted by these upgrades, so we will post updates (where required) on this thread and at status.breww.com.
We have customers all around the world, so have chosen this time as it’s statistically the least impactful, but there’s never a perfect time for scheduled downtime. We appreciate your understanding and hope that the downtime doesn’t cause you too much inconvenience.
