Following on from: Ability edit planned & actual volumes. If batch complete & reducing volume, also reduce another action's wastage to account for it
We could catch mistakes early if a sanity check on these volumes could be made. The recipe (if used) has a “Batch size”, so if the batch “Planned vol.” is wildly different from this (when the batch is started / scheduled) …
or if “Batch total” goes over “Planned vol.”, an alert should be raised.
(Obviously, there’s a few steps where batch total could go high - transfer out of brewing system + volume additions)
Something like:
“This would create a Planned vol. / Batch total of nnnnL. Are you sure?”
