Locking for month end

We’d like to see a feature that enables us to lock a period of time or locks certain functions after a period of time for certain users.
This would help us for weekly stock recs and month end.

Thanks for the suggestion, Issy. Can you confirm what exactly “certain functions” refers to? We cannot implement a lock for everything at once, so we would need to know what needs to be locked to be able to action this.

If this is for stock takes then the feature request that Jon has linked to would cover it. There is also Closing/Locking Accounting Periods to prevent issuing invoices, racking, returning stock, etc for the accounting side of things.
