As a large, busy team, we are struggling with stock takes, specifically, stopping operations to count every stock item or product on site.
It would be greatly beneficial to be able to count specific item groups only, e.g. Malt or Hops. I am aware that this can be done via stock adjustments, but this feels a clunky solution.
It would also help to be able to freeze stock movement during the stock take to avoid issues when reuploading.
This would be a great idea to do interim counts throughout the month to ensure stock control is maintained whilst also saving a lot of time.
Full counts can then be done at different intervals such as quarterly or annually
Yep. The stock take needs some love.

of course, you don’t have to count everything just cos it’s all on the download. Do you? If you leave lines unchanged… they won’t change. Or am I missing something?

Jon is right here. And we do agree, stock takes is overdue some love!
