It would be useful to be able to cancel a scheduled (pending) process. This would release the block on the equipment, but create an entry in the maintenance log (Cleaning / Maintenance Records).
Would require an additional status for Cleaning & maintenance records: “Cancelled”
This would help out in situations like this one:
i.e. the usual Acid process would be scheduled, and the exceptional (in this case, Caustic) process could be manually triggered, while the Acid process is cancelled. So the Cleaning Records would reflect what actually happened. Obv, this requires that two distinct processes are set up. Which would be better, I think.
It would be nice if the Cleaning Records could be conveniently exported.
If I cancel a process, it stays in “Records Due” (“Cancelled” rather than “Pending”), but I’d have hoped it would be be in the completed list. i.e. “Cancelled” should be a flavour of Completed, not of Pending. Otherwise there’s not much point (apart from removing the block). I’m guessing this is work in progress.
Hey Jon, yes, this has been done for you Sorry for not announcing before - we were holding off on the announcement as we didn’t want to obscure the maintenance announcement before that was complete.
And, thanks for the pointers here, this should also be resolved now
