There should be a way to pull Pre - Breww orders information from Xero for mapped customers, specifically “average order value” and “number of orders”
That way the customer data in Breww would be more accurate and easy to see.
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion.
Pulling all previous orders (as individual orders) would be a huge can of worms and, I must admit, not something that we’d consider building right now. For example, what if you sold a product 10 years ago on Xero that doesn’t exist in Breww? This product would need creating now in Breww, even though you’ve not sold it for 10 years and don’t intend to ever sell it again.
However, to get the headline numbers in Breww today, you could create a couple of custom fields for these values and then import this information into Breww using the customer bulk updater tool. Custom fields can be created in Customers → Settings & tools → Custom fields. Once created, they can be used when editing/creating customers and in the data import tools in Settings → Data imports and updates.
I hope this helps
Hi Luke, Thanks for the answer.
I understand the setbacks of doing what my suggestion says. The thing is that if we create a custom field, it wouldn’t add up to the average order price, or to the number of orders.
What if you develop a function that pulls only those 2 values from Xero? Irrespective of the items sold.
Pulling just those two numbers would be feasible, yes.
To be completely transparent - it’s not something that we’re going to be able to do in the short term. If you’re looking for this information in Breww soon, you’d need to go for the custom field approach. I realise it’s not perfect, but it should help you much sooner than we’d be able to implement your idea. When we do get to this request, you’ll be able to remove the then-redundant custom fields. I hope this makes sense
