Hi guys, just a small suggestion, but as the ex46 Beer Duty return form is split between non-draught and draught products it would be easier for users to have the same high level split in the breakdown then by beer type.
Reckon this is possible? Would be a useful way to shave some time off the returns.

Hi Dan! The Beer duty breakdown page should already be grouping beer, ABV, and duty rate. So if you’ve sold the same beer under both draught and non-draught rates, it should appear as two summary sections on that page.
However, if you don’t see this on your breakdown page when you expect to, please open a ticket, and we can investigate for you!

However my point was that the primary sort is done by beer. The Duty Return form actually splits between draught and non-draught products THEN by beer.
Its only a small suggestion, but might make life easier.

Ah apologies, I think I misunderstood! So are you using the breakdown page’s information to submit the online EX46 form rather than the main totals? Do you mind if I ask why that is?
Breww’s EX46 form totals are designed to give the summary information needed to submit the online form without needing to check the breakdown page (i.e., the totals per tax code, per duty rate), so I’m wondering if the form has had further tweaks since February!
Screenshots would be ideal if you can easily get any 
By rights you shouldn’t use summary totals for the EX46 and should use the breakdown by beer. Which is why I use that bit.
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand. Why can’t you use the total we provide? They are there for exactly the purpose of you typing them into the HMRC duty return, carefully calculated and “rounded” according to HMRC’s strange rules.
Sorry Luke, there’s probably cross wires here. The summaries that you provide by beer are great and thats what I use rather than the total return total on the summary page, the detailed breakdown is great.
What I was suggesting is that currently you group by beer, then by package type.

It’s a small change, but would maybe save folks some time.
