Delivery Windows

I was wondering how Breww manages customer delivery windows? I have set a few up but automated routing seems to not take those into account when deciding where to start a run and how to fit a delivery with a more strict window into a run. We have missed a few deliveries because the van that was supposed to make the delivery was scheduled to be at a stop after the delivery window had closed, and also had to circle back to customers at the end of the day that were originally scheduled for the beginning because of this.

Hi Ben, Thanks for your comment, and welcome to the community! Customer delivery windows are taken into account when using Breww’s Advanced deliveries addon. When optimising routes, these windows will be considered, and deliveries will be scheduled accordingly. If using Breww’s standard delivery optimisation, delivery windows are not considered when routing, but you can record these still against a customer. If you have advanced deliveries, and these are not being scheduled as you’d expect, then it would be great if you could raise this as a support ticket for this, as well as grant us access to your account. If you could also provide an example delivery run, we will be able to investigate this for you! Cheers.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I have any existing examples that I can refer to at the moment, we have only been using Breww for a few weeks now and I think every time it has happened we have gone in and moved the delivery to another day to try and make sure that we can get back to a customer within their drop window. If something comes up in the next week’s runs, I will be sure to make note of it. We do have the advanced deliveries addon for our brewery.
