An update on this one. Our new production tasks release covers part of the maintenance hub idea 
- Every outstanding cleaning and maintenance record becomes a task, including daily ones like boiler blowdowns, lab calibration and room temperature checks. It can be assigned to a person or a group automatically, using rules you set once (or assigned individually).
- One place to work through it. Each person’s production day lists their cleaning and maintenance alongside the rest of their work. It works well on a phone or tablet, with one tap through to the record, which helps with going paperless.
- Sign-offs as their own tasks, for processes that need a second person to check the work.
- What’s coming up is shown on the production calendar, including usage-based cleaning forecast from your production plan.
The wider maintenance hub ideas here aren’t covered yet: an equipment page with its full maintenance history, spare parts, custom equipment fields and photos, and Matthias’s point about choosing when in the day a record is raised. So I’ll leave this open. Please keep the votes and detail coming.
