I have blended batches of beer together on BREWW before, but for the first time today I am blending batches that both have ingredients required to be added later in the process. My brew sheet is set to NOT automatically allocate these ingredients when a batch is started.
When I blend these 2 beers, will both lots of future ingredients be prompted later in the process when required?
Or should I add these ingredients to the brew log now (despite NOT physically being in the product yet)?
I hope that kind of makes sense.

Hi Chris, thanks for your comment! If you are blending two beer batches to create a new beer, then it sounds like this should be a Derived in vessel beer. This means you can associate the ‘Derived in vessel’ beer with multiple other beers (on this occasion, the two beers that are being blended). Assuming that the entirety of the two batches is being blended, the original two batches will close, meaning the ingredients to be added later in the process won’t be added. However, you will be able to create a recipe exclusively for these later ingredient additions and apply this to the derived in-vessel beer. This means that when you blend these beer batches, you can select the derived in-vessel beer and assign the recipe, which means your required additions are included in the blended beer.
