Automatic Rounding when Scaling Recipes

When scaling a batch that contains an ingredient whose total quantity does not divide evenly across production turns, a small unused amount is left in stock. A way of automatically rounding in this scenario would be useful, as currently we have to manually use remaining amount every time.

Example:

A triple batch requires 7.00 kg of yeast.

Divided across 3 turns, we have to input 2.33 kg per turn.

This results in a total allocated amount of 6.99 kg, leaving 0.01 kg remaining in stock.

In your 7kg of yeast over 3 turns example, you’ll now get:

  • Turn 1: 2.33kg
  • Turn 2: 2.33kg
  • Turn 3: 2.34kg
