Currently, our trade store’s “All products” view displays every item as a single flat list (appears to be alphabetical), regardless of the trade store categories we’ve set up via tags. While we can reorder categories in the category filter menu and customers can browse by category individually, there’s no way to have the “All products” view itself grouped by category.
Request 1 - Grouped ordering in “All products” view It would be great if the “All products” page could respect the order of our trade store categories, so that:
- Our Core range beers appear together, first
- Followed by Seasonal beers, grouped together
- Then other categories in the order we’ve set
This would let customers scrolling through the full list still see a logical, branded structure rather than a mixed alphabetical list, without having to click into each category individually.
Request 2 - Custom product types We currently only have two product types available (Beer and Other), and all non-beer items (merchandise, POS materials, glassware, etc.) fall under “Other” and get listed alphabetically at the end of the “All products” view.
It would be really useful to be able to create additional custom product types (e.g. Merchandise, POS, Glassware), so these items could appear in their own clearly separated sections when viewing all products - similar to how Beer is already separated out. We know we can use tags/categories to filter, but this doesn’t help with how items are grouped in the full product list.
Why this matters: This would make our trade store look much more professional and on-brand, presenting our range in a clear, deliberate order rather than a mixed alphabetical list, improving the browsing experience for our trade customers.
