Breww has three pre-defined vessel groups: Primary, Secondary and Pilot. Your individual vessels can then be created within these groups, e.g., fermenters, brite tanks, etc. However, you can also use your own terminology for the vessel groupings to reflect what you would call these internally for your business. For example, you may want your Primary vessels to instead read in Breww as ‘Fermenting room vessels’.
Creating your own vessel groups
You can customise your vessel groups by head to Production → View → Vessels → Vessel groups. Here, the Breww pre-set groups will displayed, where you can then rename any existing groups by selecting the icon. Alternatively, you can add new vessel groups by selecting
.
To add vessels to your vessels groups, please see our Setting up your brewing system and vessels help guide.
Organising your batch schedule by vessel group
Your batch schedule, by default, will be set to be organised by vessel types; however, if you prefer, you can choose to have this match your vessel groups. This can be done by heading to Settings → Production settings and changing the Preferred batch schedule vessel grouping.
