Use different barcode content options depending on container type when printing stock labels

Hi,

I’m looking for a way to use different barcode content options depending on container type when printing stock labels:

  • For large pack (kegs/casks): Use the unique non-returnable code (e.g. ‘NR-100’ or ‘SP-101’)

  • For smallpack cases of cans: Use the product and batch combination barcode

This is so we don’t have to scan every individual case of cans during packaging, but can still track which batch of cans is sent to which customer, and require cases to be scanned during the picking process to assign to orders.

The barcode content option appears to be a global setting only (under general settings), applying to all NR and smallpack labels. There’s no way to set this differently per container type.

Hoping this is a relatively straightforward fix that will help us be much more effective at stock tracking!
