Three packers rules

I’ve just switched to Breww, is there a way to creater packaging reports.

We use the three packers rule, meaning we record the weight of a cross section of the cans packed to ensure correct fill volume. There are two thresholds T1 and T2. A certain percentage can fall below T1as long as the average for the batch is over. None can fall below T2.

I currently have an excel doc to generate a packaging report for each batch but it would be so much better if this was attached to the batch in Breww.

Perhaps I’ve missed something, if so can you point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Hi Chris, thanks for your comment! Currently, Breww allows you to create packaging approvals containing measurements/checks pre-packaging; however, it sounds like a feature where you can add measurements/ checks after packaging would be helpful here. If this is something that you would like to see added to Breww, it would be great if you could raise this as a feature request. If you are new to feature requests in Breww, then our Posting ideas & feature requests for Breww help article will guide you through how feature requests work.

For now, you could set your racking as a Delayed racking release whilst on the racking page. This will add your stock to your Delayed racking releases, which you can find by heading to Production → View → Delayed racking releases. You will then be able to check the packaged stock has met the required criteria before it is released for sale. You could then add a Note to the batch via the Notes tab on the batch with the relevant data from your checks. This wouldn’t be reportable, but the relevant data would be held against the batch, and your stock would be held until this data was added and the racking released. Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!
