I thought that it’d be really useful if when taking a gravity reading we could also input our target gravity? And then when we look at the batch readings secion it has the target gravity next to the measured gravity. That way we have one place to see if fermentation is on track.
I understand that there is a way of adding in these target gravities on the recipe screen but that is quite time consuming, whereas just plopping it in a box whilst taking the reading is reall quick. Plus all the info will show in the same place.
For fermentation gravity readings, putting targets on the brew sheet it’s ideal, so while you could set your brew sheet (recipe) up like this, it’s not what we would recommend, to be honest.
However, I’m not sure that every time you enter a fermentation reading also entering the target is the best plan either, to be honest. Where do you get these targets from? Would it not make more sense for these to be stored in Breww already (maybe on the recipe, perhaps somewhere else) - but to only enter them once rather than on every single batch you brew of the same beer, to be entering the same target value?
